In the imaginary world where my book cover designs actually grace real books, this book was published to collect those designs in one large coffee-table book.
The intention with this design was to try to achieve digitally what oil painters are capable of summoning with their paints: the texture and weight that oils can carry.
The title is a double entendre to grab consumer's attention and to have some fun with the fact that my favourite texture sources are rusty, dusty, or decayed things.
